Indy Rock Narratives
We’re back for Game 3 in Indianapolis, with the Oklahoma City Thunder looking to continue their march toward a dominant title run, and the Indiana Pacers aiming to surprise us at least one more time.
Earlier today, there was a themed baseball contest centered entirely on starting pitcher strikeout totals, so if you’re on the West Coast, make sure to check early slates to take full advantage of those matchups.

The Pacers return home with the series tied 1–1, but the momentum has shifted—and not in their favor. In Game 2, the Thunder returned to their dominant regular-season form, pulling away decisively in the second quarter.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (SGA) bounced back with an efficient 34-point performance, after his 38-point Game 1 that came on too many shots. Role players like Alex Caruso and Aaron Wiggins stepped up big time, forcing Indiana’s defense into difficult decisions on who to cover.
For those predicting a short series, tonight could be pivotal. A Thunder win would fuel expectations for a 5-game finish.
But from Indiana’s point of view, the mission is simple: win one of the next two at home to force a 2–2 tie heading into Game 5. Of course, taking both would be ideal, but beating OKC twice in a row is no small task. With three full days to adjust, Tyrese Haliburton must find ways to be more assertive—especially if that creates space for teammates. If he can “unlock” Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith to play their version of “Caruso and Wiggins,” the Pacers could turn the tide.
And maybe—just maybe—Myles Turner banks in a couple of threes tonight…
- Tyrese Haliburton – Over/Under 17.5 points
- Pascal Siakam – Over/Under 7.5 rebounds
- Myles Turner – Over/Under 1.5 3 pointers made
- Andrew Nembhard – Over/Under 3.5 rebounds
- Aaron Nesmith – Over/Under 0.5 steals
- Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – Over/Under 34.5 points
- Jalen Williams – Over/Under 1.5 3 pointers made
- Chet Holmgren – Over/Under 1.5 blocks
- Alex Caruso – Over/Under 3.5 rebounds
- Isaiah Hartenstein – Over/Under 0.5 steals
