Hold the Curry and add a dash of Baseball
Only one basketball game on the docket tonight, as Indiana and Cleveland get a bit of extra rest before their Game 3 clash.
The spotlight is on Game 2 between the Golden State Warriors and the Minnesota Timberwolves, airing on TNT/Max. Meanwhile, baseball fans get a fun throwback to the 2008 World Series matchup: Philadelphia at Tampa Bay. However, you’ll need MLB.tv or local market access to catch the game.
Today's TV Games
- Golden State Warriors @ Minnesota Timberwolves – TNT/Max
Tonight's Pick 10 (8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT)
Golden State @ Minnesota
The major headline tonight is Stephen Curry’s hamstring injury, which will sideline him for at least a week. Without their superstar, the Warriors will need to redistribute scoring responsibilities across the rest of the roster. That will be a tall order against Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle, who looked dominant in Round 1 against the Lakers.
Minnesota’s coach publicly challenged Edwards after Game 1, and fans hope that sparks a breakout performance to help the Wolves even the series 1–1.
- Jimmy Butler – Over/Under 24.5 points
- Draymond Green – Over/Under 17.5 points + rebounds
- Brandin Podziemski – Over/Under 3.5 assists
- Anthony Edwards – Over/Under 27.5 points
- Anthony Edwards – Over/Under 7.5 rebounds
- Julius Randle – Over/Under 1.5 3-pointers made
Cleveland @ Indiana (4:30pm Friday game)
It’s chaos and catastrophe in Cleveland, now trailing 0–2 after injuries have impacted the roster. This is not the same Cavs squad that showed promise in Round 1. With Evan Mobley, Darius Garland, and De’Andre Hunter still questionable for Game 3, Indiana is eyeing a potential sweep at home.
But sweeps don’t come easy, especially when talent gaps aren’t massive. The Cavaliers must focus on taking both games in Indiana to shift momentum back in their favor heading into Game 5.
- Donovan Mitchell – Over/Under 40.5 points + rebounds + assists
- Jarrett Allen – Over/Under 11.5 rebounds
- Tyrese Haliburton – Over/Under 18.5 points
- Andrew Nembhard – Over/Under 5.5 assists
Pick 5 Margin (7:05pm ET/4:05pm PT)
Philadelphia @ Tampa Bay
Philadelphia is going for the sweep after winning the first two games of this series, 8–4 and 7–0. They send Jesús Luzardo, their ERA leader, to the mound tonight. The Phillies currently sit in second place in the NL East, two games behind the Mets.
Tampa Bay has struggled, sitting below .500 and third in the AL East. Their best hope lies with Ryan Pepiot, who also leads the team in ERA—though at a less impressive 4.23. Unless Pepiot has a turnaround performance, expect Philly’s offense to stay hot.
