Game 7, The Sequel

We’ve got another Game 7 thriller today, as Golden State heads to Houston after falling short in Game 6 last Friday night.  Round 2 also starts today with Indiana taking on Cleveland today and New York trekking up to Boston tomorrow.

Today's TV Games

  • Indiana Pacers @ Cleveland Cavaliers – TNT/Max
  • Golden State Warriors @ Houston Rockets – TNT/Max

Tonight's Pick 10 (6pm ET/3pm PT)

Indiana @ Cleveland

Darius Garland is still listed as a game-time decision, so make sure to check the final injury report before tipoff. Losing a starting guard at this stage is a significant blow, and it could give Indiana a real chance to push Cleveland. Still, the Cavaliers have more offensive firepower and strong interior defense that should give them the edge in crunch time.

  1. Tyrese Haliburton – Over/Under 17.5 points
  2. Andrew Nembhard – Over/Under 1.5 turnovers
  3. Donovan Mitchell – Over/Under 26.5 points
  4. Jarrett Allen – Over/Under 10.5 rebound

Golden State @ Houston

Golden State is on the brink of blowing a 3–1 series lead. Houston’s comeback shouldn’t shock anyone—the series pace shifted after Game 4, with just one day of rest between games, favoring the younger and healthier Rockets. If the Warriors want to advance, they’ll need their bench to step up and supplement Stephen Curry and Jimmy Butler’s scoring. Houston’s “New Twin Towers” have locked down the paint in the last two games, making every interior look a challenge. This one may come down to who has the legs left late in the 4th.

  1. Stephen Curry – Over/Under 26.5 points
  2. Jimmy Butler – Over/Under 1.5 steals
  3. Draymond Green – Over/Under 6.5 rebounds
  4. Alperen Şengün – Over/Under 21.5 points
  5. Fred VanVleet – Over/Under 4.5 assists
  6. Amen Thompson – Over/Under 7.5 rebounds

Pick 5 Margin (8:30pm ET/5:30pm PT)

Golden State @ Houston

(See full game breakdown above)

  1. Stephen Curry  – 3 pointers made
  2. Alperen Şengün – Rebounds

New York @ Boston (7pm ET/4pm PT Monday)

Yankees vs. Red Sox. Jets vs. Patriots. And now Knicks vs. Celtics in the NBA Playoffs—a classic I-95 rivalry.  Boston swept the season series 4–0, and their long, suffocating perimeter defense has given Jalen Brunson trouble. He’ll need to play above his size to keep New York competitive. Celtics fans will be watching Jrue Holiday’s status closely—he’s missed the last two games and is still listed as questionable.

  1. Jayson Tatum – Assists
  2. Jaylen Brown – Points
  3. Jalen Brunson – Assists
