Tonight's Pick 10 (7:30pm ET/4:30pm PT)

LA Clippers @ Denver

As I mentioned yesterday, LA might be the better team and still lose this game. The key is to imagine how your team wins, then figure out what needs to happen.  For the Clippers, they’ll need big nights from Norman Powell and James Harden, like we saw in Game 6. Expect Kawhi Leonard to deliver as always.  Denver, on the other hand, needs Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray to play at the level they showed in Game 5, with Nikola Jokić and Aaron Gordon doing their usual steady damage.

  1. Norman Powell – Over/Under 16.5 points
  2. Kawhi Leonard – Over/Under 7.5 rebounds
  3. James Harden – Over/Under 9.5 assists
  4. Nikola Jokić – Over/Under 28.5 points
  5. Aaron Gordon – Over/Under 5.5 rebounds
  6. Michael Porter Jr. – Over/Under 1.5 3-pointers made

Indiana @ Cleveland (7pm ET/3pm PT Sunday Game)

You’ll need to guess on Darius Garland’s availability, as he’s listed as a game-time decision and missed their last game of the prior series.  Indiana will surprise casual fans with how competitive they can be — though they’ll be without the vocal support of Tyrese Haliburton’s dad, who has decided he should step away from the sidelines after the last series.  Cleveland has more late-game firepower and should be able to pull away if it’s close entering the 4th quarter.

  1. Tyrese Haliburton – Over/Under 10.5 assists
  2. Donovan Mitchell – Over/Under 5.5 assists
  3. Darius Garland – Over/Under 18.5 points
  4. Evan Mobley – Over/Under 9.5 rebounds

Pick 5 Margin (9:38pm ET/6:38pm PT)

Detroit @ LA Angels

On paper, this one looks lopsided.  Detroit sits at the top of the AL Central and has already taken the first two games of this four-game series by wide margins. LA, meanwhile, is missing Mike Trout, riding a 7-game losing streak, and stuck at the bottom of the AL West.  But hey — Anaheim might just be due!
