๐ Any Given (Thursday, Friday, & Monday) Sunday
The weather turns crisp, kids head back to school, and football charges back into our lives. As the saying goes, โhope springs eternalโ โ every fan eyes that ticket to the big game in February. Most hopes crash by January, but we keep watching.
This season, Iโll post weekly previews of key matchups and storylines while spotlighting our Mido Fantasy contests. If you didnโt know, football is massive in America, so weโre launching a ๐ฐ $1M weekly contest alongside our regular games.

๐ฅ Thursday Night Breakdown
Easy pick. The Eagles won the Super Bowl, the Cowboys traded away Micah Parsons, and Philly rolls by 8.5+.
ย
Not so fast, my friend. I think the Eagles win, but I donโt see a blowout. Narratives love to pin results on one player, but remember: the Cowboysโ defense gave up plenty even with Parsons starting 13 games. A big factor to consider? Dak Prescott missed half the season. Heโs back, with some new wideouts, and he will score enough to keep Dallas close.
The Eagles still project as a top NFC defense, but roster turnover and retooling take time. Offensively, Jalen Hurts leads a strong unit with weapons at wideout. Saquon Barkley may not post last yearโs stats, but heโll still churn yards through scheme. Expect Hurts to handle the goal-line scores.
๐ฐ The Million Dollar Contest (Part 1)
This weekโs contest: Quarterback passing yards. Simple format, but you still need to do your homework.
Tips:
- Review QBsโ early-season stats from last year โ offenses start slow as units adjust to game speed and most didnโt play as a unit in preseason.
- Compare season totals and averages with individual game performance through the first 3-4 weeks of last year.
- Check past matchups vs. opposing defenses, but weigh coordinator and top player changes.
